It is a strange thought that a day you have been eagerly anticipating for so long is suddenly over, and all the excitement and countless little moments turn into memories you hope will stay with you for as long as possible. Perhaps that is exactly why it was so important for us to find someone who not only takes beautiful photos but truly understands what it means to capture such a day. In Christoph, we found exactly that person.
We discovered Christoph on Instagram. His photos looked like individual scenes from a movie, yet were so natural that you felt you were witnessing a genuine moment rather than one staged for the camera. Just a few hours after my first message, we had already scheduled an in-depth introductory meeting, and throughout the entire preparation, Christoph impressed us with his professionalism, attentiveness, and exceptionally warm and effortless communication.
Although we met Christoph in person for the first time on our wedding day, it felt as though a good friend was by our side. During my getting ready, amid all the excitement, I caught myself thinking: “Where is Christoph? I need him here now.” Not because I wanted a photo, but because his presence alone gave me incredible calm and reassurance. To this day, I find it remarkable how safe and comforted I felt in the presence of someone I had met just a few hours earlier.
At the same time, there were moments during our wedding when we barely noticed Christoph at all. I kept wondering if he had even seen certain glances or fleeting moments, only to realize later that he had not only captured those exact instances but countless others as well.
Just a week after our wedding, we received the complete gallery, which I have probably looked through more than twenty times since—still discovering new details each time. I have rarely felt as beautiful in photos while also so completely recognized as myself. The images have exactly the cinematic aesthetic we had wished for, without losing even a spark of authenticity. As I kept looking at them, I found myself thinking of how wonderful it will be one day to show these photos to our children and tell them how happy we were on that day.
With the highlight video of our ceremony, Christoph created something that goes far beyond moving images. We discovered Christoph on Instagram. Even before there was a proposal, Christoph’s profile appeared to me on Instagram, and I found the photos so beautiful that I had to follow him – even though I wasn’t a bride yet.
Months later, after the proposal, we started looking for a photographer. Many photos were nicely edited, but none of them touched me on an emotional level.
Call it fate – Christoph appeared in my feed again, and the photos immediately felt familiar! When I clicked on his profile, I realized I had already been following him.
Getting in touch was quick and easy. The first conversation was very relaxed and friendly.

The accompaniment on the wedding day was extremely professional. Even our guests reflected that back to us.
The results turned out incredibly beautiful. His full-day reportage still allows us to relive the day today. The photo sessions were easy. We felt comfortable with him, even though we have no experience in this area.
It actually only became clear to me through working with Christoph how little you think about yourselves as a bridal couple. Wedding preparations are stressful, the pressure is there, and you want all the guests to be happy.
Christoph kept reminding us that the focus was on us. It is our wedding, our day, and, in the end, our memories. The photos don’t just tell the story from the guests’ perspective but also from ours.

We came across Christoph on Instagram while looking for a wedding photographer, and we couldn’t be happier about it! Even before we stood in front of his lens for the first time, he had already eased all of our worries about our wedding photos during the initial video calls.
